Quality Control Specialist
A Quality Control Specialist (or Coder) is responsible for the review and editing of database information generated by Valora automated coding software. Each coder is assigned a batch or batches of documents each day that are related to a specific project. The coder's task is to review all data fields to ensure the automated entries are complete and accurate. Where entries are incorrect or incomplete, the coder will fill in the correct data as found on the document image.
Coders must be proficient at data entry (at least 40 wpm). . Efficiency and accuracy are critical to this position. Coders must be detail oriented, work independently, follow instructions well, and be team players. The Coder position is a 40-hour per week contract position.
Coders who show strong coding and leadership abilities may be eligible for permanent employment as a Coder, Team Lead, auditor, and possible promotion to a Project Manager role. Higher-level roles require strong communication and management skills.
